Chances are you have an amazing mom on your Christmas list and you want to find just the right gift for her. Being a mom myself, I know that we have a tendency to say, ‘Oh, I’ll love whatever you get me’ or ‘A gift card is fine’. Moms are so busy that we don’t always have time to stop and think about what we would actually want for Christmas! So I created this Holiday Gift Guide for Moms to help you find a gift that the mom on your list will love. Because I promise you she doesn’t want a vacuum, a new blender or a bulky sweater that she’ll never wear.
Moms love jewelry. I mean, that’s a no-brainer. But we want jewelry that is original and isn’t going to be worn by all the other moms at the school Christmas concert. The following 3 companies make beautiful jewelry that I’ve personally worn. They’re all amazing quality and very unique.
When you buy from Noonday Collection, you’re not just buying jewelry for your favorite mom, you’re supporting an amazing cause. The jewelry sold by Noonday is made from artisans in vulnerable communities across the world. You can check out their catalog here to see their beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Jewelry from Keep Collective is jewelry that tells a story. You can design necklaces, bracelets and watches for the mom on your list and personalize it just for her by selecting charms that match her hobbies, likes and personality. For instance, my dear friend got me a Keep bracelet with a bike (I’m a cyclist) and a bottle of prosecco (I love wine) and the color of the bracelet was garnet, to represent my alma mater, FSU (GO NOLES!). This is a great gift because the mom on your list will feel like you really took the time to think about who she is and what she likes.
Stella and Dot is one of my favorite jewelry companies, because their jewelry is classic and timeless. Not only do they sell jewelry, they also have handbags, hats, sunglasses and sarongs. Below are a few pictures of their products and they always have a good sale going on. Shop the look with Stella & Dot here!
Most moms love to read, but they have trouble finding the time. I guarantee you they’ll make the times for these books….and maybe you can give them a babysitting coupon to go along with the book, so that they can have some quiet time to enjoy reading!

All of Jen Hatmaker‘s books are great. They’re laugh out loud funny, but also have a lot of heart and meaning. This is her newest book and it’s so good that it took me a month to read it, because I kept re-reading each chapter and cracking up. My husband actually got annoyed with me because I kept reading sections out loud to him. Moms will absolutely love this book.
You can check out more of Jen’s books here: I highly recommend them ALL.
Candace Payne, also known as Chewbacca Mom, went viral last year with her You Tube video and if you are the one person on the planet who has never seen it, you can check her out here and laugh your head off. She just released a book that is actually on my Christmas Wish List. It’s the story of her life and reviews say that it’s a great combination of funny and inspiring. Laugh It Up! Big Little Lies was one of the best selling books this year and was turned into a show on Showtime. It’s a very real and funny look at how competitive moms can be with each other. You could really buy any of Liane Moriarty’s books for a mom on your list and she’d enjoy it. I read Big Little Lies in a weekend and it was a great escape!
Any woman who’s been a wife or mother for longer than 5 minutes likes wine. Actually, she NEEDS wine. So I’ve got a couple of good ideas for you in this department.
Swoozie’s has BEAUTIFUL wine glasses and you can even get them personalized like this one:
But my favorite of all their wine glasses are the Wine FREEZE Cooling Wine Glasses. You pop the glass in the fridge or freeze and it keeps your wine perfectly chilled for hours, even if it started out warm! Genius! They also have free shipping for orders over $75. (code:SHIP2U75)
Wine of the Month Club – Now, of course, you need something to go IN the wine glass, so a membership to Wine of the Month Club, Inc will keep her glass full!
Wine of the Month Club, Inc is the oldest wine club in America! Every month, she’ll get 2 pre-screened wines based on her preferences and if she doesn’t like them, she can send them back! These wines are very affordable and they have flavors for every palate! Shop for Gift Baskets
If you want to go the DIY route, sites like Snapfish offer you the chance to make a gift for mom that will have a lot of meaning. Just upload a photo of her favorite kid (we all have one, even if we won’t admit it) and then you can put it on a mousepad, coffee mug, locket, Christmas ornament, handbag or pillow. You can even have the picture put on a canvas or turned into an acrylic print. I make calendars for my mom and mother-in-law every year through Snapfish and they treasure them.
During the holidays, I’ll be sending special one day deals out from these companies to all subscribers of Moving Through Momhood! If you’d like to get coupons and deals for these items, as well as the most up-to-date blogs and a few laughs, Subscribe today!
